Day 1

Londorossi Gate → Mti Mkubwa Camp

Day Highlights

Your adventure begins with a scenic drive to Londorossi Gate, located on the western side of Kilimanjaro.

After registration, you enter the rainforest and hike to Mti Mkubwa Camp, surrounded by lush vegetation.

Day 2

Mti Mkubwa Camp → Shira 1 Camp

You leave the forest behind and ascend into moorland terrain.

The trail offers wide open views as you approach the Shira Plateau, one of the most unique areas on Kilimanjaro.

Day 3

Shira 1 Camp → Shira 2 / Moir Hut

This day is designed for acclimatization.

You take a slower hike across the plateau, with optional walks around the Lent Hills, helping your body adapt to altitude.

Day 4

Shira → Lava Tower → Barranco Camp

You climb toward Lava Tower, then descend into the beautiful Barranco Valley.

Barranco Camp → Karanga Camp

You tackle the iconic Barranco Wall, a fun and rewarding climb.

Afterward, you continue to Karanga Camp, preparing for higher altitude.

Day 6

Karanga Camp → Barafu Camp

🌌 Final preparation for summit
🔥 Early rest before summit night

You continue toward Barafu Camp, your base for the summit attempt.

From here, you get incredible views of the summit before resting.

Day 7

Barafu Camp → Summit → Mweka Camp

🌅 Sunrise at Uhuru Peak
🏆 Reach Africa’s highest point

Your summit push begins at midnight.

You ascend to Stella Point, then continue to Uhuru Peak (5,895m).

After celebrating, you descend to Mweka Camp.

Day 8

Mweka Camp → Mweka Gate → Moshi

Day Highlights

🌿 Final descent through rainforest
🎉 Receive summit certificate
🚿 Return and relax

You descend through rainforest to Mweka Gate, receive your certificate, and transfer back to Moshi.
