Your journey begins with a transfer to Momella Gate in Arusha National Park.
After registration, you start hiking through open grasslands where you may spot giraffes, buffalo, and warthogs — a unique experience compared to other mountain climbs.
You continue through forest trails, crossing rivers and enjoying rich biodiversity before reaching Miriakamba Hut, where you spend your first night.

🌅 Optional hike to Little Meru
After breakfast, you begin a steeper climb through lush forest filled with birdlife.
As you gain altitude, the vegetation changes and you begin to see the dramatic cliffs of the Meru crater.
Upon arrival at Saddle Hut, you can take an optional afternoon hike to Little Meru (3,794m) for spectacular sunset views.

Your summit push begins in the early hours of the night.
The trail is steep and challenging, especially near Rhino Point, where you follow a narrow ridge toward the summit.
At sunrise, you reach Socialist Peak (4,566m), where you’ll enjoy breathtaking views, including Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance.
After celebrating, you descend back to Miriakamba Hut for rest.
